Jet indulge their softer side on ‘Look What You’ve Done’ by ditching their distortion pedals and getting all melancholy with a soppy, gag-inducing, piano-soaked ballad that sucks harder than the band’s Village People-style dress sense (I kid you not, have a look at the cover). Ok, so maybe I’m being a bit harsh, but any song that opens by declaring “Take my photo off the wall if it just won’t sing for you” gets my inner cynic’s blood boiling. Turgid stuff.
