Lola Young cancels all shows until further notice
The singer had tour dates planned for America, the UK and Europe.
Lola Young has announced that she will be taking a break from touring, resulting in the cancellation of all upcoming gigs.
This statement comes three days after the singer was seen visibly weak on stage during a performance at the All Things Go music festival in New York on Saturday, resulting in collapse. The following day she cancelled her concert in DC and the day prior to her collapse she had cancelled her show in New Jersey.
“I’m going away for a while," She wrote to Instagram on Tuesday evening.
"It pains me to say I have to cancel everything for the foreseeable future. Thank you for all the love and support. I’m so sorry to let anyone down who has bought a ticket to see me, it hurts me more than you know.Obviously you will be entitled to a full refund.I really hope you’ll give me a second chance once I’ve had some time to work on myself and come back stronger. Love you all, Lola x.”
Young is a breakthrough pop artist, blowing up over the past year and a half with hit single 'Messy' which was released in 2024. She just released her third studio album I'm Only F**king Myself on September 19.
Singer Doechii showed support to Young during her own performance at All Things Go.
"She’s an incredibly talented artist, and she wasn’t feeling well tonight, and I’m so glad that you guys were there to support her and hold her up," said Doechii to a large audience on Sunday. "Let’s wish her the best, okay, everybody? Say, we love you, Lola!”
Young was set for a full length tour, with UK dates in October and North and South American dates in the winter months. Additionally, she had a European tour arranged to begin in 2026.
