LISTEN: Travis Scott drops two new singles ‘ESCAPE PLAN’ and ‘MAFIA’
Travis Scott links up with J. Cole for 'MAFIA.'
Travis Scott has shared two new singles ‘ESCAPE PLAN’ and ‘MAFIA’ which features J. Cole.
‘ESCAPE PLAN’ is a hyped up banger that features the acclaimed producer’s trademark melodic flow as he references The Beatles’ ‘Helter Skelter’ and his own Seltzer brand. ‘MAFIA’ sees Scott collaborating with J. Cole on a more mellow but equally catchy cut.
The 29-year-old previewed ‘ESCAPE PLAN’ at Rolling Loud Miami where he gave fans the chance to pre-save the song via a massive QR code transported by drone. Scott announced the new singles yesterday with a tabloid-inspired promo photo.
The singles are reportedly taken from a mixtape called Dystopia that the rapper is currently working on. Scott is also set to release his new album Utopia after the mixtape but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Scott released his last album ASTROWORLD in 2018. The record included the hits ‘SICKO MODE’ featuring Drake, ‘STARGAZING’ and ‘NO BYSTANDERS.’ Travis recently featured on Don Toliver’s ‘Flocky Flocky’ as well as Baby Keem’s ‘Durag Activity.’
