Perfect for a sleepy Monday!
As part of NPR Music's 'First Listen' series, you can now stream two of this years most eagerly-awaited albums, ahead of their release dates. Firstly, Panda Bear, aka Noah Lennox and one-quarter of Animal Collective will release his fourth album Tomboy on April 12 but you can listen to it here. The follow-up to 2007's monstrously acclaimed Person Pitch is every bit that album's equal: gloriously elevating, hypnotic and moving and is a guaranteed shoo-in for 'Best Of...' lists come December.
Meanwhile Paul Simon's new album So Beautiful or So What is a return to classic Graceland territory after 2006's sonically-wondrous, Brian Eno-enhanced Surprise. It's also out on April 12 and can be streamed from here. Simon plays the Cork Live at the Marquee festival on June 21 with tickets still available.
