LISTEN: The Grateful Dead Share First Track From Movie Soundtrack
You can have a first listen to the song 'Dark Star', which The Grateful Dead has just shared on SoundCloud.
The song is taken from the soundtrack album of the band's "untold story" documentary called 'The Long Strange Trip. And it was recorded live at The Fillmore East, New York on 2/14/70. Tune in here...
Diggin' the vibe? We highly recommend the 3CD Amazon-exclusive version of the soundtrack which features nine additional songs, including an epic version (nearly 20-minutes) of "Eyes Of The World" recorded on August 6, 1974 at Roosevelt Stadium and two unreleased performances, including 'Stella Blue' from 5 July, 1981 in Oklahoma City and 'Days Between' from 18 October 1994 at Madison Square Garden.
