LISTEN: Rare studio version of 'Whole Lotta Love'

Led Zeppelin have released an early version of 'Whole Lotta Love'. It was recorded during the Led Zeppelin II sessions. This version has no overdubs and features a different mid section and some extra vocal ad-libs from Robert Plant.

Jimmy Page is remastering the whole Zeppelin catalogue at the moment. The first three records will be released on June 2. Each album will come with a second disc of live versions, alternative takes and some previously unreleased tracks.

While the chances of there ever being another Zeppelin tour are slim you can catch Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters Live at the Marquee in Cork on June 25.
