Listen to the new single from singer songwriter Marc Rigney
The 30 year old hails from Derry City.
For the past 14 years, Marc Rigney has been honing his artistic and creative flair. Today, you can hear him with the backing of other local musicians on his new single 'Neither Am I'. The rising singer songwriter has appeared on Balcony TV, BBC Electric Mainline, and has played in popular venues such as the Empire in Belfast, the Nerve Centre Derry and the Ally Theatre, to name a few.
‘Neither Am I’ was written in 2018. Speaking about the track, Rigney said: “This song can have multiple meanings to each individual, depending on their unique life experiences. But to me, the song is about two lovers who have been sentenced to jail for protecting their family against unfortunate hardship. Although, I wanted this song to resonate with my passionate followers so I intentionally wrote this in a way which can have a variety of meanings.”
