Give your holiday party guests a break from Mariah Carey and pop on the latest festive release from our favourite Mexican-Irish band called 'Everybody Knows It's Christmas'.

Frontman DaveO expresses our sentiments exactly, telling us the song is "different, catchy, and (fingers crossed) warming. It might even catch a Grinch off guard and bring on a smile."

The Simplifires debut album Why People Make Countries and follow-up EP The Flavour Of Being were both impressive stadium rock efforts and the band says they are hoping to release more new material in January.
