LISTEN: 7eddy shares new track 'Fade Away', featuring RikShaw

The latest talent to emerge from Waterford's Anomaly collective, 7eddy has shared a brand new single, 'Fade Away', featuring Dublin rapper RikShaw.

“For me, 'Fade Away' is a representation of my experience in past relationships and hardship in my life so far," 7eddy explains. "I usually take influence from my favourite artists and put my own spin on it. Lil Tjay was the main influence behind 'Fade Away'. I really liked the melodic storytelling rap style that he used and I thought that style would fit the song well."

"'Fade Away' is definitely one of my favourite projects to date," he continues. "It marks a personal milestone for me and definitely inspires me to continue what I am doing.”

Initially emerging as a Soundcloud rapper, 7eddy's raw talent first came to Anomaly's attention last year, with tracks 'Hurt You' and 'Supposed To'. He's since become the collective's youngest star – with upcoming collaborations with other Anomaly artists, including Pat Lagoon and Evan Miles, in the pipeline.
