Lisa O'Neill to play Vicar Street after new album release
Heard A Long Gone Song will be the singer's fourth album and her first for Rough Trade imprint River Lea Records.
The album from Cavan artist Lisa O'Neill will be released on the 19th of October and she's following that up with a gig at Vicar Street that has been confirmed for the following Friday on the 27th.
Heard A Long Gone Song is the follow up to her 2016 record Pothole In The Sky, an album laden with personal personal songs meshed with her unique sound which received a glowing 9/10 rating from this publication upon its release.
She'll be expecting more of the same sort of acclaim with this album, the title of which comes from Shane McGowan’s Lullaby of London, a song she makes her own for the closing song of the record, addressing the tension between the rural and the urban with her exemplary folk sounds.
Tickets for Lisa O'Neill's Vicar Street performance go on sale this Friday the 14th of September at 9am and are priced at €20.00 inclusive of booking fee. You can check out her 2016 song 'Pothole In The Sky' below:
