Saoirse Domestic Violence Services have announced that Lisa O'Neill's recent benefit concert raised €8,000.
Saoirse Domestic Violence Services is a national organisation which provides support to those facing domestic violence. The fundraiser, which took place at the Pavillion Theatre in Dún Laoghaire on March 8, coincided with international women's day.
"We’re enormously grateful to everyone who dedicated their time and talent to creating such an unforgettable celebration of female solidarity," the charity wrote to social media.

O'Neill released her latest EP The Wind Doesn't Blow This Far Right, this past November, and since then has performed select tour dates around Ireland and the UK.
This summer, she'll feature at the Galway Folk Festival, with a performance set for June 4. Tickets are available for purchase here.
