Lightning Seeds postpone Irish shows
No reason given for ‘90s Brit-Popper’s cancellation as yet
Irish fans of the Lightning Seeds will be disappointed to learn that the band have been forced to postpone their three Irish gigs.
The band, perhaps best known for their football anthem ‘Three Lions’, were due to play at Dolan’s Warehouse in Limerick on Saturday May 8 and the Academy, Dublin on May 9.
They were also pencilled in to play the Spring and Airbrake venue in Belfast on May 10.
MCD say new dates will be announced very soon and all tickets for the origninal shows will still be valid. However, full refunds are available from the point of purchase.

By way of consolation, here’s Ian Broudie et al with a classic slice of Brit-Pop.
