Unique Freaks announce new album Enjoyment Planted and single ‘Ur Friend's No Friend’

Dublin Garage Psych duo Unique Freaks (aka THEE U.F.O) have announced the release of their new album Enjoyment Planted for September 19 on the band’s own Gelatinous Records.

The band are also set to share the new single ‘Ur Friend's No Friend’ tomorrow, June 27, following their previous singles, ‘Becoming You, Becoming Me’, and the 9 minute opus ‘Someone Special’.

Unique Freaks have also started a Kickstarter campaign to help with the physical release of Enjoyment Planted, which will help cover the manufacturing costs of the Vinyl, CD and tape editions of the album.

Speaking of the new single, Unique Freaks’ Darragh Hansard said: “Ur Friend’s No Friend - It’s easy to pretend to not want to talk to a friend, It’s hard to reach out and reconcile, It’s even harder when your friend doesn’t want to reconcile. Safe to say we’re still not friends, I love ‘em though!”

Enjoyment Planted is the follow up album to last year's critically acclaimed Beaming A Moment's Reflection.

‘Ur Friend’s No Friend’ will be available from tomorrow on Unique Freaks’ Bandcamp.
