The Gallagher of the Liam variety has revealed that the first single from his soon to be released third solo album, C'mon You Know, 'Everything's Electric' will be released on February 4.

His announcement may have been a disappointment to those hoping of an Oasis reunion for 2022 (and every year since they've broken up) after he teased "some massive fucking news" yesterday.

'Everything's Electric' is the first new material from the Britpop frontman since 2020's 'All You're Dreaming Of', a charity single Christmas single. All proceeds from that release up until December 31 of that year went to Action for Children who "protect and support children and young people, providing practical and emotional care and support, ensuring their voices are heard, and campaign to bring lasting improvements to their lives."

In Oasis news, the group released a film and live album celebrating the 25th anniversary of the seminal Knebworth gig.

In November, its director Jake Scott sat down with Hot Press to discuss many topics surrounding the picture, including the band's star quality.

"He's got it – and he knows he's got it. That swagger," he said about Liam Gallagher.

"He has that unique charisma. He's unpredictable too, which makes you want to watch him. He's as funny as fuck in the film and just incredibly entertaining.

The balance between him and Noel, and the evident rapport they had at the time on stage, was a lovely thing to work and play with."
