Robbie Williams releases new version of 'Desire', featuring Nicole Scherzinger and Laura Pausini
Robbie Williams, Nicole Scherzinger and Laura Pausini will perform the FIFA World Cup anthem on Sunday, July 19 in New Jersey.
Robbie Williams has released a new version of his song 'Desire', featuring Nicole Scherzinger and Laura Pausini.
Williams, confirmed as the Official FIFA Music Ambassador in June 2025, will perform the song at the FIFA World Cup in New Jersey, with Sherzinger and Pausini on July 19, before kick-off.
The first official FIFA anthem will be broadcast around the globe to an expected audience of around two billion people.
Williams previously performed the song with Pausini at the FIFA Club World Cup Final in 2025 and with Scherzinger at the Final Draw for the FIFA World Cup 2026 last December. However, this will be the first time that the song will be performed live and released featuring all three artists.
The original version of the track featuring Pausini was released in July 2025 and included on the Deluxe Edition of Williams' thirteenth studio album ‘BRITPOP’. The album became his 16th UK Number One overtaking the record set by The Beatles for the most No.1 albums of all time.

The year's final will see the first-ever Super Bowl style half-time show, featuring Madonna, Shakira and Justin Bieber. It is facing widespread criticism for the 11-minute performance extending the traditional 15 minute break.
