Leaders Of Men to support The Minutes at the Academy

Greaser rock trio The Minutes have just announced that Tallaght's Leaders of Men will support them at their massive Academy date on Saturday February 11. It's another feather in the cap for LoM, who were the winners of last year's Play On The Day competition and went on to perform live at the Guinness Storehouse on Arthur's Day before wrapping up their 2011 with their own headline show in Whelan's.

As for The Minutes, in the last 12 months the rockers managed to release their debut album Marcata and gig around the UK and Europe (check out their Hot Press Tour Diary here). 2012 looks set to be an even bigger year for them. First up, they fly to Groningen for the Eurosonic showcase festival before going on to play their biggest home headline to date in the Academy and undertake a Spring jaunt around the UK.
