Lauren Guillery for The Village
She will be performing with a full band on the night
Lauren Guillery, the French-born singer-songwriter now resident in Ireland, has lined up a full band gig at The Village, Dublin this weekend.
Guillery will front her five-piece band when she opens for Marie Cherrier as
part of the Let's French Festival at the Village this Sunday.
She will also trailer songs from her forthcoming debut album Actions Speak Louder Than Words.
Described by Jackie Hayden in Hot Press as 'Very fresh and exciting. Ireland could do with more women making such noises with guitars!' Guillery was awarded 'Best International Act' at the Balcony TV music awards. She has toured Ireland supporting Norwegian post-punk outfit Ungdomskulen and female sensations Les Plastiscines, along the way surviving crowd-surfings and stage invasions.
See Lauren with Marie Cherrier this Sunday June 21 at 8. Admission is free.
