Kneecap mark biggest headline performance with Trevor Dietz tribute, Kae Tempest appearance, and Pro Palestine chants
The show was billed as their biggest headline show to date, with over 25,000 in attendance.
Kneecap's headline show at London’s Crystal Palace Park drew huge reactions for a Kae Tempest guest appearance, a tribute to Trevor Dietz and pro-Palestine messages on stage.
With over 25,000 in attendance, the June 27 show was the group’s biggest headline performance so far, with The Mary Wallopers, Fat Dog, Biig Piig, Gurriers and Madra Salach also on the bill.
Among the most widely shared moments on social media was the appearance of Kae Tempest, who joined Kneecap for the performance of ‘Irish Goodbye’.
Tempest is an English spoken word performer, poet, recording artist, novelist, and playwright who collaborated with Kneecap on the final song of their most recent album Fenian.

The show also included a tribute to the late music manager Trevor Dietz. Dietz was an influential Irish music manager, venue booker, and club promoter. He was best known as manager of Fontaines D.C and co-founder of the Workman's club music venue
Kneecap showed a photo of Dietz and accompanied the tribute with an image of the Palestinian flag on the screen behind them.

Pro-Palestine chants also broke out during the set, after Kneecap addressed the ongoing situation in Gaza. Videos on social media show the crowd chanting "Free Palestine", keeping with the groups pattern of using live shows for activism.
Notably, the rap trio didn't overtly reference Keir Starmer, who resigned as Prime Minister and Labour Party leader on Monday due to a collapse in political support.
Kneecap led their audiences in chanting "fuck Keir Starmer" at Glastonbury Festival and during arena gigs in September 2025.
However, the group did perform ‘Liars Tale’, a track that criticised the former UK Prime Minister over his stance on Gaza.

Wonderful Irish community festival yesterday, county shirts everywhere you look, reminiscent of Roundwood Park in my youth or the Finsbury Fleadhs.
