KNEECAP joined by The Mary Wallopers, Damien Dempsey and more for livestream concert
The concert was recorded in Dublin and broadcast to North America in place of their cancelled US tour.
KNEECAP performed their livestream concert on Friday night, joined by actor Liam Cunningham along with musical acts The Mary Wallopers, Radie Peat, Damien Dempsey and John Francis Flynn.
"GRMA to the thousands of heads who tuned into our special livestream to North America on Friday night," wrote KNEECAP on social media this afternoon.
"Special thanks to the thousands of people who also went to Kings Theatre Brooklyn to see the livestream together in defiance and camaraderie."
They revealed the secret filming location as Liberty Hall in Dublin, which they called "a place that knows revolution and working class solidarity against empires."
An estimated 3,000 fans attended the ticketed showing of the concert in New York.

KNEECAP previously cancelled all 15 planned US tour dates due to the timing of Mo Chara's September 26 court appearance. They were later forced to also cancel their Canadian tour dates after being banned from entering Canada.
They announced the October 10 concert in place of the shows, with a ticketed global broadcast and a showing in Brooklyn, New York.
Mo Chara was charged with a terrorism offence for the incident in what the band called a "carnival of distraction."
After a series of court appearances, the case was thrown out by the chief magistrate at Woolwich Crown Court on September 26 over a technical error in the way the charge against him was brought.
The lineup of special guests, as well as the filming location, was kept secret until just before the gig.
In the lead-up to the gig, KNEECAP posted a photo of Cunningham pouring a stout at Liberty Hall.

Similar to KNEECAP, the Game of Thrones actor has been outspoken in his activism for Palestine.
Dempsey, Flynn, The Mary Wallopers and Radie Peat all previously collaborated with KNEECAP on activism initiatives.
Radie Peat also featured on the intro track of KNEECAP's 2024 album Fine Art.
