Kieran O'Reilly: "Love/Hate is done"
The Hail The Ghost frontman sat down with Hot Press for a lengthy chat this week - and Love/Hate fans will be disappointed with what we found out
The release of Hail The Ghost's fantastic album Forsaken gave us reason to catch up with their frontman Kieran O'Reilly, who many will recognise as Detective Ciarán Madden from Love/Hate.
When Stuart Carolan popped up on the phone halfway through, our interest was piqued - could the creator of the show be quietly planning its return?
According to Kieran, no.
"No, I don’t think so. As far as I know, Love/Hate is done; there will be no Love/Hate Series 6. Then again, Stuart Carolan is the only man that really knows."
You can catch the full-length chinwag, where we cover acting, music, and get the lowdown on the RTÉ series in a forthcoming issue of Hot Press...
