Katy Perry has done it again!
Miss Perry boasts her third week in a row as queen of the Irish singles charts, fending off her position at the top spot with the defiant single ‘Roar’.
Jumping a place to #2 is Miley Cyrus and her latest single ‘Wrecking Ball’, with the latest offering from Jason Derulo - his ‘Talk Dirty’ collaboration with American rapper 2 Chainz, sliding one place to #3.
One Republic spend a whopping 17th week in the charts at #4 with ‘Counting Stars’, while Avicii continue to dominate the top end of the charts with ‘Wake Me Up’ still clinging on at #5 and new single ‘You Make Me’ staying at a respectful #10.
Teenage musician Birdy slides two places to #6 with ‘Wings’, while a revival of Lana Del Rey’s ‘Summertime Sadness’ sees her take seventh position.
Ellie Goulding comes in eighth with ‘Burn’, while ‘Same Love’ sees Macklemore and Ryan Lewis still remain at the business end of things at #9.
