Kano to make Dublin debut
The newest face of British grime, Kano plays Crawdaddy this April
Kano demonstrates why he’s the next rap sensation waiting to happen on April 22 when he plays Dublin's Crawdaddy venue.
Mike Skinner’s co-conspirator on ‘Fit But You Know It’, the Londoner is from the same grime scene as Dizzee Rascal and made his top 30 UK debut this week with Jo Whiley-endorsed ‘Typical Me’.
Before embarking on his current career, Kano seemed destined to become a professional footballer.
“A lot of my cousins play,” he reveals. “I stopped to concentrate on music. Because I stopped football, it makes me try harder at music. My cousin John Fortune plays for Charlton, so I can’t ever give up the music.”
Joining him for his Dublin date are assorted members of the Nasty Crew.
