Journey for Dublin
US rockers Journey are set to play Dublin's National Stadium this summer.
The A.O.R. masses will be out in force on June 25 when Journey triumphantly descend on Dublin’s National Stadium.
Rarely out of the American charts during the ‘70s and ‘80s, and a staple here on the likes of MT-USA and Radio Nova, the Californians have enjoyed a huge career renaissance courtesy of David Chase selecting ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ to soundtrack the final scene of The Sopranos.
Although original singer Steve Perry left the fold in 1998, they’ve found a more than adequate replacement in Filipino Arnel Pinada who used to be in a Journey covers band and is well able to hit those high notes.
Tickets priced €52.80 are on sale now.
