Ash announce anniversary edition of 1977 and Dublin and Belfast shows
They will perform on December 9 and 10.
Ash have announced the 30th anniversary edition of their debut album 1977, due out on October 16 via BMG.
They also announced the accompanying 1977 world tour, set to wrap up in Ireland at the end of the year with nights in Dublin’s Olympia on December 9 and Belfast's Ulster Hall on December 10.
Additionally, Ash will perform a very special live streamed concert, direct from Belfast's Oh Yeah Centre. Taking place tonight, May 6, marking 30 years to the day since the record’s original release.
The band will offer an intimate live acoustic set of classic tracks from the album. The evening will be hosted by BBC Introducing’s Taylor Johnson, who will be chatting to the band and delving into the stories and inspirations behind their music. Tickets are on sale now here.

Released in 1996, 1977 is the No.1 selling debut from Ash, and includes hits like ‘Girl From Mars,’, ‘Goldfinger’, ‘Kung Fu’ and ‘Oh Yeah’. The newest edition will be available on 2LP EcoRecord Green & Black ‘InkPlosion’ vinyl in a Gatefold Sleeve, 2CD Digisleeve plus booklet, and digitally.
