Jodavino confirm tour and album details
Jodavino have confirmed the September 6 release of Deep End, their debut album which has already been given the ‘thumbs up’ by Bryan Ferry who invited them to support Roxy Music in Cork recently.
The Leesiders were formed in June 2005 by brother and sister Joe and Aoibheann Carey and include former Rubyhorse man Joe Philpott in their ranks.
You can catch them live when they swing by Whelan’s, Dublin (September 6); Cyprus Avenue, Cork (8); Murphy’s, Thomastown (9); Auntie Annie’s, Belfast (12); De Barra’s, Clonakilty (17); McCarthy’s, Dingle (20); Dolan’s, Limerick (21); and The Lodge, Mallow (22).
Musically, we’re talking Tori Amos meets Fiona Apple with a touch of Coldplay thrown in for good measure.
