Joan Armatrading for Sligo
She'll tour the land this autumn.
Joan Armatrading has been unveiled as the headline turn at Sligo Live, which returns this year from October 24 to 29.
Armatrading, who’s been plying her trade since the early ‘70s, plays an intimate show in the town’s new Knocknarea Arena on the Saturday night. Tickets are €36 incl. booking fee or €96 as part of the Early Bird Weekend deal.
She’ll be joined by a full band for run throughs of such mega-hits as ‘Love And Affection’, ‘Show Some Emotion’, ‘Me Myself I’, ‘All The Way From America’ and ‘Drop The Pilot’.
There’s also a new album to look forward to, and earlier stop-offs in the Millennium Forum, Derry (September 21); Vicar St., Dublin (22); Grand Opera House, Cork (23); INEC, Killarney (25); and University Concert Hall, Limerick (26).
