Jenny Greene Announced As Nicky Byrne’s Co-host
Will join Byrne’s show on Monday.
We like to predict the future here at Hot Press HQ, and we love especially when our readers do it for us.
In the recent 2014 Hot Press Hotties, Jenny Greene of 2fm was voted ‘Best Radio DJ’, and it seemed that the upper echelons noticed.
As of Monday RTÉ 2fm weekend presenter Jenny Greene is joining Nicky Byrne for his new daily mid-morning show.
The new programme, to be called The Nicky Byrne Show with Nicky and Jenny, is part of the revamped 2fm schedule, and will air 11am till 2pm Monday to Friday.
Jenny Greene will continue to present The Electric Disco on 2fm every Saturday night from 7pm-10pm.
Commenting on her new role, Jenny said: “I’m really looking forward to joining 2fm’s exciting new daytime line-up and it’s great to be in the studio during the day for a change, as Macca might say ‘no more lonely nights’! I even have great company in studio with Nicky Byrne, what more could I ask for?”
Head of 2fm, Dan Healy said:“We are almost there…another great broadcaster to announce for 2fm. Jenny has been at the forefront of 2fm’s music content and now joins Nicky Byrne front and centre in our daytime schedule.”
Tune in from Monday!
