Jeff Tweedy forms band with son, announces new album
Tweedy joins with his 18-year-old son Spencer for the band appropriately named Tweedy.
Jeff Tweedy of Wilco fame has a new project and this time he's keeping it all in the family. Jeff has started a band with his son Spencer to form Tweedy, with an album due for release on September 15. The title is Sukierae and will bereleased through Jeff's dBpm label.
Below is live audio from one of the first live performances officially as Tweedy, a set at the Mountain Jam fest in Hunter Mountain, N.Y from this past weekend. The set is full of new songs, along with some Wilco and Uncle Tupelo classics.
