Likely in response to recent civil unrest
Jay Z has already released the protest track 'Spiritual' in response to the Alton Sterling and Philando Castile shootings, and now he has shared a 24-song playlist.
The playlist seems to be inspired by the recent social unrest surrounding the killings. It is made up of songs about social injustice by pioneering black musicians, including tracks by Nina Simone, Bob Marley, and Kendrick Lamar among others.
