Ahead of their sets at Beyond The Pale and All Together Now this summer, Le Boom share their festival reflections...

We definitely benefit by getting into the festival and taking a wander around. There’s a very specific energy that’s not like a regular show. In fact a Sunday energy can be different to a Friday energy, so it’s good to acclimatise yourself to that before you get on stage.
The stages and the tents tend to be massive – the feedback from the crowd is huge. It can be overwhelming, in a good way.
Two years ago, we played Beyond The Pale. It had been pissing rain all morning, we’d come from a show in the UK and we were wrecked. It was all set up not to go well, but it ended up being amazing. It felt really honest between us and the crowd, there was such a massive connection. That was one of our favourite gigs ever.
Le Boom play Beyond The Pale, All Together Now and more this summer.
