Jay Z announces massive Brooklyn charity gig
Beyonce, Prince, Usher & Nicki Minaj are also on the seriously A-List October bill
Jay Z is masterminding a massive TIDAL charity concert in Brooklyn's Barclays Center on October 20, which will benefit the New World Foundation.
The first in a series of TIDAL X: 1020 Amplified By HTC gigs that will grace the hip hoppers' high-fidelity music streaming service, the seriously star-studded show features him, the missus Beyonce, Prince, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, T.I., Fabolous, Damien Marley, Indochine, Thomas Rhett, DJ Cipha Sounds, DJ Reflex, Alessia Cara, Bas, Benjamin Booker, Flatbush Zombies and Justin Sky. Phew!
Fans can expect "collaborations on specially chosen songs to promote the message of unity through music."
If you fancy hopping on a jet to NYC, tickets go on general sale this Friday priced between $74 and $244.
After a controversial and somewhat sluggish start, Tidal recently broke through the one million user barrier.
