James Vincent McMorrow To Support Al Green
Dublin soul singer James Vincent McMorrow has been invited to support the legendary Al Green on his upcoming Dublin dates, this coming Sunday October 26 and Monday October 27.
James will be the only support on both nights. "This is an incredible honour for James, who has just released his debut EP ‘Sparrow and the Wolf’ ," a spokesperson commented.
The hugely talented McMorrow has recently signed a publishing deal with EMI Publishing in the UK. He heads to London in November to record and produce his debut album. Not only an accomplished vocalist, with a style that might just owe just a little bit to Al Green himself, along with Sam Cooke and Marvin Gaye, James is also a multi-instrumentalist and is set to play all the instruments on the album himself.
