Ivan St. John announces Workman's Club date
The Artist Formerly Known As Pinky releases his new album on November 12.
Ivan St. John gives his Up The Snuff album the official Dublin launch treatment on December 4 in the rather lovely Workman’s Club. Tickets are a tenner with support from The Danger Is.
A glorious piece of psychedelic pop whimsy, it was recorded at Steve Albini’s Electrical Audio studio in Chicago and then mastered in Abbey Road, which is why it sounds so pristine.
You can also catch his henchmen and him in HMV, Limerick (November 12 @ 4pm); Third Wave Music, Sligo (13 @ 4pm); McGarrigle’s, Sligo (13 + Goodtime); Tripod, Dublin (15 + The Walkmen); Roisin Dubh, Galway (16 + The Walkmen); Tower Records, Dublin (18 @ 6pm); The Stables, Mullingar (18); The Old Oak, Cork (23 + EleventyFour); Roisin Dubh, Galway (25 + Go Panda Go & Paul O’Reilly); Dolan’s, Limerick (26 + Vertigo Smyth).
Up The Snuff is out here on November 12.
