Bell X1 share video for new single 'But First, Love'
The band have been recording their ninth studio album at Dreamland Recording Studios in Upstate New York.
Bell X1 have shared a live performance video for their new single, 'But First, Love,' from their upcoming album Good Bones.
The band have been recording their ninth studio album with producer Josh Kaufman and engineer D. James Goodwin at Dreamland Recording Studios in Upstate New York.
"The record was made shortly after losing our friend and collaborator, Glenn Keating, and was a very heightened, emotional, but beautiful time," said frontman Paul Noonan on the album.
"Truly immersing ourselves in the making, without distraction and with open hearts, felt profound and cathartic. Glenn was talked about a lot and felt very present. Josh and Dan were very sensitive to this and brought such brilliance and care to the process."
Dublin musician and multi-instrumentalist Glenn Keating passed away on March 4, this year, at the age of 43, following a six-year battle with bowel cancer.
Out of their studio albums, records like Flock (2005) and Blue Lights on the Runway (2009) have earned them multiple Choice Music Prize nominations.
The band have several major summer shows across the country, performing Live at the Marquee, Cork on June 18, Iveagh Gardens, Dublin on July 11, and the Galway International Arts Festival on July 25.
