Irish acts confirmed for Coachella

Two Door Cinema Club, The Swell Season and Flogging Molly fly the Irish flag at this year’s Coachella festival, which takes place in the Californian desert from April 15 to 17.
As usual it’s a fantastic line-up with Kings Of Leon, The Black Keys, Interpol, The Chemical Brothers, Lauryn Hill, Brandon Flowers, Arcade Fire, Animal Collective, Scissor Sisters, Kanye West, The Strokes, Duran Duran, Elbow and, er, The London Suede among the headline attractions.
There’s also a spot on the bill for Big Audio Dynamite, the genre-bending outfit that Mick Jones – last sighted here as a member of Gorillaz –formed after leaving The Clash. Definitely one for the Electric Picnic people to chase!
