Irish actress Ruth Bradley for US sci-fi drama

Another Irish success story coming to US screens over the next year.

Dubliner Ruth Bradley, who you'll know from her role as Mary on Love/Hate, has just landed a lead role in new sci-fi drama Horizon.

Set during World War II, The Walking Dead exec producer Gale Anne Hurd is at the helm of the project.

It's more good news for Bradley, who won an IFTA for Best Actress this year for Grabbers and is also set to star in new Disney flick Big Thunder.

The USA Network has ordered a pilot for December.
