Although this will never feature on the Pet Sounds play list it is impossible to really dislike it. It’s written by New Radical Gregg Alexander, a man with a Paul McCartney-like gift for melody. You can’t help but wonder why, since calling it a day with the Radicals, Alexander has spent his time trying to put words and melodies into the mouths of people like Ronan Keating and here, 18-year-old Dubliner Carly. It’s as if McCartney went directly to Wings without ever having been in The Beatles. My daytime colleagues will tell you more.
