For most at the moment Dolores and the Boys can do no wrong but one fears for the time when the bubble bursts. ‘I Can’t Be With You’, taken from a B.B.C. Radio One FM Evening Session once again highlights just what an improvement O’Riordan has made to her vocals: her singing has become a more grotesque and alienating creature, without losing its innate sense of harmony and cohesion. The vulnerable sentiments are all the more credible as a result.
