Hozier and U2 earn Grammy nominations
'Take Me To Church' is up for Song Of The Year while Songs Of Innocence is in the running for Best Rock Album.
The nominees for the 57th Annual Grammy Awards were revealed over the weekend and there are two big Irish inclusions.
U2, who are the act with the most Grammys in history, are there once again. This time their new Songs Of Innocence LP is up for Best Rock Album. They'll be competing against Ryan Adams, Beck, The Black Keys and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
Meanwhile, Andrew Hozier-Byrne's dream year continues.
His smash hit single 'Take Me To Church' is still sitting at No. 3 on the US Hot 100 and is up for Song Of The Year. The competition in that high profile category is Meghan Trainor's 'All About That Bass', Sia's 'Chandelier', Taylor Swift's 'Shake It Off' and Sam Smith's 'Stay With Me (Darkchild Version)'.
