Although they’re quite a way from re-inventing the rock ‘n’ roll wheel, Tennessee quartet Kings Of Leon – a bunch of beatnik garage rockers with a penchant for two-chord blues riffs – underline their Next Big Thing status with their latest EP. A fine collection of three-minute gems laced with Strokes guitars, melodic hooks and slick vocals, it promises good things from the band’s debut album, due to hit the shelves this summer.
