The latest group of Brit indie upstarts make a play for the charts with this uninspired take on ‘60s psychedelia. If ever proof were needed of just how crucial a celebrity recommendation can be in exciting music hacks, if ‘Here She Comes Again’ had been released by Cast circa 1996, John Power and co. would probably have been laughed out of town. However, such is the power of even a casual endorsement from Noel Gallagher, it wouldn’t surprise me if the NME are raving hyperbolically about these callow young chaps in the very near future. Don’t say you haven’t been appropriately cautioned.
