Headland Collective leave home
The West Cork-based Headland Collective kick off their nationwide tour in McCarthys in Dingle this weekend
They then head for The Passion Fruit Theatre, Athlone and other venues listed below.
The Headland Collective was founded this year by Justin Grounds and Alan Tobin (of LOWmountain), and this will be their first road adventure. The plan is to encourage a community of like-minded yet musically diverse artists, providing mutual support and collaboration. The forthcoming tour will include multi-instrumentalist and electro-acoustic visionary Justin Grounds, the much-touted LOWmountain and the soulfully emotive Gavin Moore.
The Headland Collective tour dates:
McCarthys of Dingle (October 8)
The Passion Fruit Theatre, Athlone (October 9)
Róisín Dubh [upstairs], Galway (October 10)
De Barras, Clonakilty (October 14)
The Crane Lane Theatre, Cork (October 21)
and Cobblestone, Dublin (October 30).
