Hard Working Class Heroes: Scottish invasion revealed
The full line-up of Scottish acts who are invading Dublin for the Hard Working Class Heroes showcase festival has just been announced.
The rock ‘n’ roll branch of the Tartan Army comprises Desalvo (“incendiary, visceral and genuinely perverse”); Fangs (“protagonists, androgynists, style icons and blood sucking monsters”); Foxface (“rousing brittle folk”); Frightened Rabbit (“a Caledonian rejig of mid-period REM”); Half Cousin (“distorted junkyard pop”): Larmousse (“epic soundtrack post-rock”); We Are The Physics (“fictional mutant science punk”); We Were Promised Jetpacks (“merging Postcard and C86 jangle with full-on alt-rock”); The Whisky Works (“raucous guitar-driven noise”); and Scottish Invasion curators Sons & Daughters (pictured).
HWCH heroes runs in Temple Bar from September 12 to 14.
