Happy Out release debut EP 'Is,was, wasn't'
The Donegal native's carefree noise rock is infectious.
Post-noise band Happy Out are making serious tracks with their debut EP Is,Was,Wasn't. The trio have made a considerable name for themselves in the live scene around Donegal and Derry, playing in bars, parks, festivals and anywhere else they can. They aren't precious or pretentious, often throwing themselves into the crowd to rattle out verses.
Happy Out have played shows with the likes of Titus Andronicus, Inhaler, and IDLES' John Talbot. The band don't take themselves too seriously, but their music demands respect. “Ask anyone involved with the Derry music scene who they’re excited about coming through and you’ll see Happy Out’s name again and again," says Taylor Johnson of Encore Northern Ireland. These three are ones to watch out for in 2020.
