Hamburger in the sugar club
Rock n' roll comedian back in Dublin this October.
The comedic genius that is Neil Hamburger – sample gag: “What’s the difference between Courtney Love and the American flag? It would never be appropriate to urinate on the American flag – returns to Dublin for an October 25 show in The Sugar Club with New Zealand prop comic The Boy With The Tape On His Face supporting. Tickets are €20.
Not everyone’s cup of stand-up tea, Hamburger, real name Gregg Turkington, received a torrent of abuse supporting Ardal O’Hanlon a couple of years back in the Iveagh Gardens, but professed afterwards to being delighted he’d wound so many people up.
He’s not short of rock ‘n’ roll credentials, with Tenacious D, Faith No More, The Melvins and Bonnie “Prince” Billy all on his speed-dial.
