Halibut/Hot Milk For Hard Shoulders
It’s a rather lean time of the year for major single releases which means it’s a good time for picking up quality homegrown and independent releases. Headgear’s ‘Halibut’ sounds like some kind of ethereal Royksopp Vs U2 bootleg, but in reality it’s a studio concoction of train whistles, beats, battered guitar and moody vocals, beautifully put together by Limerick’s Daragh Dukes.
