Green, who was born in South Africa but is now domiciled in Dublin, had her debut EP Can You Understand? produced in Dublin by guitar maestro Bill Shanley.

Shanley worked with several top Irish artists, including Eleanor McEvoy. Jackie Hayden, writing in Hot Press, compared her to Lisa Hannigan, Enya and Sinead O’Connor, and said of her EP, “This is so good we could soon be claiming her as one of our own.”

The gig on Friday, January 28 (in the Grand Social, formerly Pravda) will kick off at 8.30pm.
