Granny's Intentions confirm reunion concert
Ireland's top beat band of the 60s will reunite for three nights in late October.
The concerts will feature the original Limerick band members Cha Haran, Johnny Hockedy, Jack Costelloe, Guido DiVito and Johnny Duhan. They will perform Johnny Duhan’s 2008 album To The Light, which was inspired by the band’s years on the road.
Following Granny's Intentions split up, Duhan went on to become a successful songwriter, whose songs have been performed by Ireland's finest musicians, including Christy Moore and the Dubliners.
Granny's Intentions will play hometown Limerick on October 28-29 and Dublin on October 30.
Tickets for the Limerick gig are priced €20 and are available from [link]www.belltable.ie[/link]. Tickets for the Dublin show at the Olympia Theatre cost €28 and can be purchased online at [link]www.ticketmaster.ie[/link] and from all Ticketmaster outlets.
To celebrate their reunion, the band are also releasing a new single, 'Burning Again', available to download on iTunes.
