You never thought a place called ‘Skibbereen’ could have so much street cred, eh? The Cork x Southwest Festival takes place this Saturday, July 31 and has a truly fantastic line-up.
In the Blue Tent you can enjoy Martha Wainwright, Bonnie ‘Prince Billy and the Cairo Gang, Hothouse Flowers, The Frank and Walters, Mick Flannery, John Spillane, Neon Flea Circus, and Future Trad Collective.
The Little Big Tent plays hosts to Brian Deady, O Emperor, The Ceili All Stars, Suckitt & C, Jinx Lennon, Bray Vista, Joel Plaskett, Trembling bells, TKO, The Social Services, Freezerroom, Katell Keineg, and Lousy Rocks.
Other acts include Dead Cat Bounce, Luka Bloom, The Handsome Family, The Ambiance Affair and many many more.
Gates open at noon and the gigs kick off at 2pm.
Tickets are €55 or €65 for camping and are available from tickets.ie
