Matthew Morrison, better known as Mr.Schuester, the charismatic Spanish teacher at McKinley High School on popular US teen-hit TV show Glee has announced a summer solo date at the 02 Arena, Dublin on June 6. The all-singing, all-dancing educator is branching out from the show to start his own pop career with the release of first single 'Summer Rain' and his own self-titled debut album. Comparisons to Justin and Bruno Mars have been mooted and the album boasts collaborations featuring Glee guest star Gwyneth Paltrow and Elton John. But Morrison will also cater to the Glee crowd, perfroming a "variety of mash-ups from popular Glee songs".

Tickets for the fully-seated show go on sale next Friday April 8 at 9am and will be priced at €59.80 and €49.20.
